It has enhanced my gaming and productivity experience 100 fold from my previous monitor. Response time is great and when fully overclocked to 170hz the monitor is able to give a smooth motion effect. Honestly, it completely blew my expectations out of the water. Now on to the main event, the high refresh rate, elmb sync (Black Frame Insertion) and gaming features of this monitor. I wouldn't say the HDR is bad by any means but you're not going to get anywhere close the performance of an expensive 4k TV like my Sony x900h which has full array local dimming. It is able to display some highlights but overall is not good enough for me to want to use it over SDR, also with 10bit HDR enabled the input lag is increased a little bit, not enough to notice but its there if you care about that sort of thing. It has an HDR feature which is pretty disappointing but that is not what I got this monitor for. The colours on this monitor are incredibly rich and stunning to say the least, the monitor gets very bright and is actually somewhat blinding at max brightness, I suggest leaving brightness to 70. Despite what was said on Rtings about black uniformity my panel seems to display blacks much better than expected and is well beyond satisfactory for an IPS panel. There is no BLB to speak of and the IPS glow is very minimal. However, that has not been the case for me. I purchased mine from Amazon warehouse deals and was a little worried after reading some reviews that there would "definitely" be some kind of defect with it, being an open box item I thought FORSURE someone would have returned it for the aforementioned problems. I own one and its hands down one of the best looking monitors I've ever had.
